What is Magnificent Voyage?

In 1994, when I began offering my sessions and classes, I realized that I needed a name for the work I was doing. I wanted something that described the process of going within oneself to transform the outside. I went to sleep that night and had an extraordinary adventure. It reminded me of the movie from the 70s where scientists miniaturized and injected themselves into a human body to explore. When I awoke I had the name: Magnificent Voyage.

Magnificent Voyage describes the journey that each of us must take to discover who we are at our source. It is the process of claiming our power as creators, healing any perceptions that limit us or keep us small, and releasing patterns that sabotage us. 

I believe - and science supports -- that ultimately there is only one force that expresses itself through all of creation: consciousness itself. Once one truly understands this, the implications are profound. To create and "heal" take on a very different significance. I also believe that this wild ride we have collectively embarked upon never ends. We are eternal. Therefore, there must be a whole lot more in front of us than there could ever be behind us. That being the case, the journey itself becomes the destination. 

The intention behind Magnificent Voyage is to give you the tools to create a life of health, joy, abundance, and peace. Together, at every level of your being, we can make "miracles."

(As an aside, I received an inner nudge to look up the etymology of the word “magnificent.” The last definition in the big Random House unabridged brought a huge smile to my face; it said, “the song of Mary.”)

BIO

Mary was born in Connecticut, grew up in Florida, and after five lively years at the University of Florida, lived in Atlanta, and the coasts of Maryland and South Carolina. She eventually wound up in Chicago, where she spent eight years working on staff and then freelance with The Lincoln Park Zoo as a writer, editor and photographic services manager. She followed up her zoo experience as a senior copywriter at a Chicago advertising agency. It was during this time that she began exploring in earnest what is now her full-time passion: expansion of consciousness and living a joyful, empowered life. She met her now-husband Mark at a Michael Harner Shamanism workshop, said goodbye to the big city and headed to the Wyoming Valley in Spring Green, where she now lives with Mark, her talented aerialist step-daughter Disa, furry golden retriever/border collie Raymond, and other-worldly cat Puddles (along with many cows, horses, red-tail hawks, eagles, foxes and assorted critters.)

She established Magnificent Voyage in 1994 as a vehicle to support our unique and extraordinary opportunity to realize our potential and create a life that truly reflects our creative genius.  Olson has trained with some of the most respected healers, teachers and visionaries of our time, including Tom Kenyon, Sanaya Roman, and Peggy Phoenix Dubro. A student and teacher of Abraham-Hicks for more than 11 years, she is also a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master Teacher, and a Master in Practice and Advanced Teacher of The EMF Balancing Technique®. She is an on-going student in Tom Kenyon’s Alchemy School in Orcas Island, Washington and has additional training in The Avatar materials, Sound Healing, Transpersonal Counseling, and Awakening the Light Body. Olson is also an ordained minister who conducts life passage ceremonies.

Her personal philosophy is that there comes a time when one must put aside what you have learned from others and be present with your own unique connection to the Stream of Source that informs, feeds and creates with you. Thus, she has spent the last few years very appreciative for all the viewpoints and models she has studied, and armed with that foundation, now knows the most important and reliable guidance is that which comes from her own Stream, being present in the moment, listening and expressing what is given.

On a practical note, Olson is an avid “foodie,” she and husband Mark also own Renaissance Farm, Inc, an organic farming and food manufacturing company which produce herb-based artisan food products. www.renfarm.com
